Favorite tools for writing:

I recently discovered Scrivener and blogged about how much I LOVE it. $40 word processor designed for novelists. YES! It’s like breaking out of a jail you didn’t know you were in. “I can see clearly now, the rain has gone..” Amazing.

I also love The Outlining Your Novel Workbook by K.M. Weiland. Do you want to make the jump from pantser to planner? Here’s your tool. Brilliant.

Then, there’s my favorite bookshelf. Natalie Goldberg– read them all and listen to them on tape. You’ll love her way of speaking even more than her accent.

The Power of Positive Thinking by Norman Vincent Peale, for those days when you need encouragement.  He’s great.

Building Fiction by Jesse Lee Kercheval

Writing Tools by Roy Peter Clark

The Synonym Finder- a writer’s thesaurus.

I love books about writing.  Do you?  Which are your favorites?

PS.  5200 words this week.  Keep it going!!
